Day 1 Bucharest – arrival

Arrival on International Airport of Bucharest, meeting with English speaking guide, transfer to the hotel for check in. Dinner in the historical center of Bucharest (“Old Bucharest”) considered one of the best European locations for night life and entertainment in local clubs and restaurants.

Day 2   Bucharest – Tulcea

Breakfast, City tour Bucharest with visit at the palace of the parliament (second largest building in the world after the pentagon), the Patriarch's Church (residence of the Head of the Romania Orthodox Church), then we drive to Tulcea; dinner and accommodation in Uzlina.

Day 3 Tulcea

Breakfast, on day 3 we go on an excursion by ship into the Danube Delta (3446 km²), the second largest river delta in Europe, after Volga Delta, and the best preserved on the continent, the Danube delta hosts over 300 species of  birds as well as 45 freshwater fish species in its numerous lakes and marshes. Dinner with campfire and accommodation.

Day 4 Tulcea – Suceava

Breakfast. On day 4, your trip will go through Dobrogea region, optional lunch at a restaurant in Bacau, visit Neamt Monestery, one of the most interesting monasteries, important orthodox cultural centre with schools for miniature painters. Dinner and accommodation in Suceava.

Day 5 Suceava

Breakfast, we will visit the Putna Monastery (a Romanian Orthodox monastery, one of the most important cultural, religious  and artistic centers established in medieval Moldavia), Arbore ( build in 1503, is one of the smallest in Bucovina) and Sucevita (the most decorated monastery in Bucovina). Then we visit the Black Ceramics of Marginea, dinner and accommodation in Suceava.

Day 6 Suceava – Campulung Moldovenesc – Borsa

Breakfast. On day 6 you will visit the Moldavian Monasteries of Voronet, Humor and Moldovita. The nun monastery of Moldovita, protected by powerful walls and towers, is one of the largest in Bucovina, this church was painted five years after its founding in 1532. Accommodation and dinner in Borsa.

Day 7 Borsa

Early Breakfast, departure at 08:00 for the tour of Maramures ( Borsa – Sighetul Marmatiei – Sapanta – Barsana – Ieud – Sacel – Borsa). We will visit “cheerful cemetery" of Sapanta, Peri Monastery, Traditional Art Workshop, Barsana Monestery, Museum of the Romanian peasant in Dragomiresti (unique in the country), arrival at the hotel accommodation

Day 8  Borsa – Sighisoara – Sibiu

Breakfast, on our way to Brasov, we’ll pass through Sighisoara, one of the few fortified towns which are still inhabited and listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, we will have a walk  tour of the city centre. Then we head to Sibiu; free time, dinner and accommodation.

Day 9 Sibiu

Breakfast, visit of Sibiu, the town that was the cultural capital of Europe in 2007; visit of “ASTRA” Museum of Traditional Folk Civilization that covers an area of 0.96 square kilometres, and is the largest open air museum in Romania and one of the largest in Central and Eastern Europe, a walk tour to visit Town Hall Square, the Bridge of Lies, Brukenthal National Museum; free time, accommodation and dinner in Sibiu.

Day 10 Sibiu – Ramnicu Valcea  - Pitesti – Bucuresti

Breakfast, departure for Pitesti; en route stop visit of the Holy Monastery of Cozia, nearby the Calimanesti-Caciulata resort and the river Olt, built between 1386 -1388, by Mircea the Elder, the ruler of Wallachia, free time Pitesti for downtown visit, afternoon arrival in Bucharest

Day 11  Bucuresti

Breakfest, free time, transfer to te airoport for the flight back home.
